Body candles (candlelighting) are a natural remedy where beeswax ensures the slow burning of the candle. The vacuum (chimney effect) created by the burning of the candle releases old deposits. These are easily washed away from the area around the candle through the dilated blood and lymphatic vessels. By washing away the deposits, the inflammation and the accompanying pain gradually decrease. The given area begins to regenerate.
